Welcome to 2021 NaNoWriMo.
I'm working on two manuscripts this month.
The first is book one of a planned trilogy I've cheekily subtitled, "Daddy Issues". You see, it's about a girl (aren't they all) who discovers she's the key element to her father's bid for immortality. It's created some tension between them that she's got to work through.
The second? It's my memoir. I have a milestone birthday coming up in 2022 and I want to honor it by releasing my take on life up to this point.
All total, I'm looking at writing a minimum of 80K words in the month of November. Can it be done you ask?
It's all about focus and choosing to write instead of:
binge watching [insert any number of favorite visual addictions here]
mindlessly scrolling social media
running unnecessary errands
You get the picture.
