Just in Case You Wanted to Write...
First and foremost, I hope you and your loved ones are doing okay; that everyone is healthy and adjusting to the many changes we've had to make in our daily lives.
I'm doing well despite still having to go in to my day gig. On the one hand, I'm grateful to still have my job, on the other, I feel uncomfortable with the thought that I may be putting myself and others at risk because I have to be out and about. My main coping mechanism, as expected, is to write.
And that means, I'll be participating in this April's Camp NaNoWriMo event. As described on their site,
Camp NaNoWriMo is a writing event that happens in April and July. It's different from NaNoWriMo in November because you can work on any type of creative project, not just a novel. First drafts or revision, scripts or stories or poems or essays—all are welcome! Just set a goal and get writing.
For more detailed information and to sign up as a participant, click HERE.Â

Whether you register for Camp or not, if you'd like to spend some of your "free" time writing your first (or next) book draft, join me via Zoom every day in April for a 30 minute, live writing session. I'll introduce you to the techniques I use to get the words to flow, and then we'll do some writing sprints to help you reach your word count goals for the day.

In the meantime, drop me a note - let me know how you're doing and if you're finding it difficult to feel / be creative these days. I want to know what your creative struggles are so I can tailor my content to meet as many of those needs as I can.

Take care and hope you decide to join me live via Zoom in April!
