"When You Know Better..."

"...Do better." - Dr. Maya Angelou

Let's continue planning for 2024.

You've gathered quite a bit of intel from your reflection on 2023. You should have a good understanding of who you are as a person - what makes you tick, what behaviors you want to take into the new year, and what habits you want to change. What is it that you value now? Etc.

With all of that in mind, the next step is...

Step 2: Brainstorm

Set aside another hour, maybe an hour and a half. This time, based on your reflection work, toss out all the things that come to mind you'd like to see, do, be, have in 2024 based on what you've learned about yourself and your life in 2023.

Make lists, use bullet points; draw mind maps, or put together a Pinterest Board. However you do it, get all the ideas, thoughts, "want to do's" out of your head and onto a page.

This is not the time to think realistically. There are no limits during this exercise because you want to get as many dreams and goals out of your mind as you can. Empty the vessel so to speak. Just as it was with the reflection, you want to uncover as much information as possible so you can make informed decisions when it comes time to put your plans in place.

Next week, we'll go over the two most important steps in the process, digging out what goes on the 2024 goals list and then breaking those goals down into reasonable projects and their actionable steps

As always, sending light and inspiration,

Dana
